While he still holds his own as a lyrical deejay, Dexta Daps has positioned himself as a sex symbol in Dancehall with a catalogue of songs that are considered panty droppers for the ladies. When Dexta rocks the suit, just know that he’s most likely gonna sweep some ladies off their feet.
Last year, he released the sexy VENT album. Packed with hot tracks, the project went on to become a favorite for many, and a great follow-up to his “INTRO” album. On September 30, he followed up with a deluxe version of “VENT” featuring new songs, to extend the life of the original project. On October 1, we got to see the visual for the album’s opener, I’m On My Way.
Directed by PhillyFlyBoy and Rahim Visram, Dexta Daps gives us the romantic film vibes as he steps out of a Private Jet with suave, and makes his way to a Penthouse Suite to fulfill the desires of a young miss. Dexta Daps ensures that his visuals are of the best in quality, with a healthy dose of sexiness sprinkled throughout. For those who remember his steamy “INTRO” short film, we believe he has one of those locked and loaded for a release later this year. We hope we’re not wrong about that.
Dexta Dap’s VENT (Deluxe) features new collaborations with Konshens, Tory Lanez, Drumma Boy among others, and looks to make a lot more noise than the original. With his smooth vocals, aggressive lyrical delivery, and a commanding presence, Dexta Daps is here to make timeless music.
Expect more content from Dexta Daps to be released in the coming weeks, including more music videos in support of “VENT (Deluxe)”. If you’re in the US, be on the lookout for him performing in a city near you.
