“I’m Femme Fatale” – DancehallMag

Rebel Nation | August 18, 2021

Just over a year after Lisa Hyper sparked pregnancy rumours when she gained weight, the ‘first lady’ of Vybz Kartel‘s Gaza Empire has joined several of her female Dancehall stars in getting a “designer body”.

Declaring herself an irresistibly attractive woman, the Body Fit artist archived her Instagram photos and posted a lone shot of her newly minted body on Tuesday afternoon, seemingly to herald the upcoming release of her two albums The Phoenix and Empath.

She captioned her post: “I look back at the past as fond memories but I’m able to move forwards in a new light…I’m “Femme Fatale”.

In the post, she also tagged Designer Bodys, the popular Dominican Republic-based plastic surgery company where she underwent her procedures.

The 33-year-old transformed her physique via liposculpture and Brazilian butt lift procedures.  According to Designer Bodys, there was no need to augment Hyper’s breasts as they were flawless.

“Lisa came in for Breast Augmentation, Lipo, and BBL. After the Dr’s consultation, she decided not to do her breast as they were already perfect!” they noted on Instagram.

Hyper’s fans were impressed with her new look and showered her with commendations.

“Love you it nuh OD… looks good,” itzannalee26 noted, while
_.xia_rose added: “Need a nice song with this body”.

“Watch how the dolly come out bitch you di talk of the town bad gal @lisa_hyper  love this,” was the comment from a delighted misschevii.

Another fan, jadesparklez said Hyper had re-emerged looking better than ever.  “What a come back!! wa no dead no dash weh,” he wrote.

Others commented on the fact that whatever sculpting Lisa had done did not look artificial.

“Wen the thighs match!” shauna__mighty wrote, while  askbout_diandra noted: “It’s giving natural vibes ”.

Last year, with speculation rife that she was pregnant, Lisa had sought to straighten the record by explaining on a subsequent episode of Spice It Up, that she was never pregnant, but had been dealing with hormonal imbalance issues.

The Pretty Butterfly artist, whose given name is Felecia Gooden, joins a growing list of female Dancehall artists who have surgically enhanced their bodies, in what is a growing trend of cosmetic enhancements. Among them are Spice, Shauna Controlla, Renee 6:30, Queen Nikki, Pretti Pretti and Starface.

Lisa Hyper

Last summer, Lisa Hyper had announced plans to not only release a Reggae album but a gospel album, over the next two years.  She had said that the two albums would follow her Phoenix dancehall album, which was initially set for released back then.

The then 32-year-old had appeared excited about her Reggae album, which she had said was already titled The Matriarch and disclosed that she is looking forward to doing collabs with Sanchez, her idol Queen Ifrica, as well as Ikaya and Beres Hammond.

However, in October she announced that the Phoenix album had been pushed back to 2021, but that she was yet to set a date. At the time, she told The Star that although the album was complete, she believed that the time was not right time to drop the compilation as the ‘universe’ was leading her in a “different direction”.

Lisa Hyper had also said she has many songs in the pipeline, including Empath, and noted that both Phoenix and Empath could be released this year.
