Reggae artist Jah Cure is scheduled to appear in court today in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Jah Cure, whose given name is Siccaturie Alcock, is reportedly facing a battery of charges including attempted murder and assault.
Reports emerged in the city of Amsterdam recently that Jah Cure allegedly stabbed 45-year-old concert promoter, Nicardo ‘Papa’ Blake, in the stomach on October 1 during an incident at Dam Square in the city centre of Amsterdam.
When DancehallMag contacted the alleged stabbing victim, ‘Papa’ this morning, he confirmed that Jah Cure was scheduled to appear in court today.
“I am out of the hospital right now, but I cannot talk about the case, but Cure is going to court this morning,” Blake told a reporter.
Jah Cure, whose real name is Siccature Alcock, is known for songs including Longing For, Call On Me, and Unconditional Love.
