Jamaican Football player, Jahshaun Anglin has been arrested by the Miami-Dade Police in Florida after he was implicated as the person involved in sexually assaulting a woman in a classroom on the campus of the Florida International University on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old man is now remanded in Police custody with a $10,000 bond and was charged with one count of sexual battery.
According to the reports by NBC 6, South Florida, the event started on the 11000 block of Southwest 12th Street where Anglin was said to have met the female, and they agreed to have their meeting somewhere else.
After going to the other location, it is reported that the footballer asked the female for a sexual favour inside a room, for which she had expressed refusal; however, Anglin is said to have at that time placed his hands inside her underwear, while also hindering her from leaving the vicinity.
Reports go on to state that while performing a sexual act on the female, someone walked inside the room and saw what was taking place, which caused the young man to flee the scene.
He was later apprehended and identified as the person who was carrying out the act after the matter was reported to the police
According to the Miami Fc for whom Anglin has already played 12 games, they are working together with the authorities to get a full understanding of what took place to move forward with the decisions they will need to make.
Jahshaun Anglin in recent times has also been making his name with the Reggae Boyz, as he has represented Jamaica 3 times on the international level.
