Dancehall star Shenseea is taking no breaks as she was recently seen in the studio with American rapper and producer Juicy J.
Taking it to Instagram and Twitter today, Juicy J shared photos of the Blessed singer in studio, behind the mic, and chilling on the sofa and wrote, “@SHENYENG SUPER TALENT can’t wait for y’all to hear”.
On Instagram, the Be Good singer responded with “Juicyyyyy
Juicy, the former founding member of the hip hop group Three 6 Mafia, is best known for his features on Mike Will Made It’s 23, Usher’s I Don’t Mind and his own Top 40 hit Bandz a Make Her Dance, which featured Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz. As part of Three 6 Mafia, he won an Academy Award for Best Original Song, for their single It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp.
Juicy received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for his feature on Katy Perry’s Dark Horse (2015), which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is currently certified Diamond in the US.
Shenseea, who is now managed by Salxco, was previously spotted in the studio with rapper Lil Tjay, when he visited Jamaica in February 2021. She has also shared studio time with rappers Meek Mill, Moneybagg Yo, as well as hitmaker producers Murda Beatz and London On Da Track over the last year.
The 24-year-old has previously collaborated with rappers Tyga (Blessed), Swae Lee and Young Thug (IDKW), and most recently Kanye West on two songs Pure Souls and Ok Ok Pt. 2.
Her debut album is set for release later this year under Rich Immigrants/Interscope Records. Run Run and Be Good are the first singles to be released from the still, untitled project.
