See All The ‘Fiyah’ Looks – DancehallMag

Rebel Nation | October 13, 2021

Cardi B’s ‘Passa Passa’ Dancehall-themed birthday bash at the LA River Studios on Monday night was a star-studded affair. Leave it to the rap icon to go above and beyond to make her 29th birthday celebration an unforgettable one.

Besides the live performances and toasts from some of the biggest names in Dancehall including Spice, Shenseea, Ding Dong, Kranium, Sean Paul, and Mr Vegas, the risqué ‘fiyah’ fashion styles among Cardi’s celebrity friends and guests were just as entertaining to see. Almost everyone understood the assignment handed out by Cardi via Twitter, inviting them to show up and skin out in their best Dancehall settings.

The Birthday Girl

Cardi’s Laurel DeWitt gold and black chain bra, batty rider shorts and fishnets with chunky Chanel accessories definitely made the cut. Kudos to her hairstylist who gave the rap star hard curls pinned up with a few waterfall tresses.

With hubby, Offset by her side the entire night, dressed in a Gianni Versace cardigan, black tank and jeans underneath and flossing multiple layers of diamond chains, her Dancehall ensemble came complete.

Spice

No one did it better than the Queen of Dancehall herself. Spice, who headlined the event was the epitome of Dancehall fashion. She wore a sparkling chain tassel headdress with green latex leotard, accented with matching chains in the back. The look was paired with gold thigh-high boots courtesy of Coco & Blue Shoes with an excessive amount of bling to embody a true Dancehall queen.

Megan Thee Stallion

Cardi’s WAP collaborator went Dancehall dominatrix in a custom red shredded knit two-piece with siam crystals styled by DaShoneByDash, along with overstated jewels and striking ruby red hair that looked fierce as ever.

She topped it off with a Dancehall wining performance on stage with Spice that was certifiably approved by the crowd.

Winnie Harlow

Jamaican-Canadian model Winnie Harlow clearly understood the assignment when she arrived wearing Rastafarian red, green and yellow multi-color crocheted monokini that barely left much to the imagination. She knew all too well that in order to be a “Dancehall queen for life” she’d have to double up on the accessories and that she did, lacing both hands with sizable gold rings and bangles.

Normani

As did this soul-singing queen who also showed up in a Rastafarian crocheted bikini top and ripped leggings. She completed her Dancehall themed outfit rocking loc-style braids, chunky loop earrings and an old school leather flat cap, popular to Jamaican fashion trends. She also hit the stage to showoff her Dancehall dance moves to send everyone wild.

Teyana Taylor

Not to be outdone, Teyana Taylor picked a similar look that incorporated a Rasta-colored skintight fishnet romper paired with a red sweater jacket. She went with faux dreadlock twists in a high ponytail, spiked with seashells on the ends and a red crochet headband, giving us retro vibes from the Queen of the Pack, Patra.

Shenseea

Always serving looks, the Shenyeng princess came out slaying in full “Yawdie Babe” garb donning a bedazzled one-piece bodysuit with green fishnet nylons, purple thigh-high stiletto boots and an over-the-top chiffon green coverall.

Karrueche Tran

Karrueche never disappoints, showing lots of skin and getting cheeky in a rainbow co-ord with gold tinsel coat giving off a chic party vibe with a tropical Caribbean twist.

 Lizzo

Styled by Jason Rembert, Lizzo bared it all in this sparkling, see-through purple gown from Matthew Reisman Collection. Though she stepped out at the venue barefoot, she insisted, “I wore jimmy choos for the record .”

Hennessy Carolina

Cardi’s little sister didn’t miss the chance to turn things up in her Dancehall get-up. With fiery long red hair down to her thighs, Hennessy rocked a gold long-sleeve bodysuit, strapped with a garter belt and knee-high boots.

Sevyn

Sexy Sevyn came through in a vibrant impy skimpy two-piece ensemble, red fishnets and yellow slouchy stiletto boots. She chose green highlighted tresses and coordinated with green-framed sunshades.

Ella Mai

Singer Ella Mai was also spotted baring some but not all in a sheer floral bodysuit. She donned a high skinny bun and laid her signature edges to complete the look.

Anitta

Brazilian singer, Anitta, showed up bright and beautiful in her electric blue leggings and a neon green crop top.

Taraji P. Hensen

Yep, this movie star actress got in on some of the Dancehall-style action, arriving on the scene in a sheer leopard print full-body suite with lasso ankle fringe boots, while clutching her Chanel quilted lambskin purse.

Tiffany Haddish

Another fan-favorite actress, Tiffany Haddish stepped out for Cardi’s party, styled in a black bustier with camo pants and a blinged-out basketball bag.

Larsa Pippen

The celebrity wife of Scottie Pippen, Larsa made sure to turn heads when she arrived at Cardi’s birthday, stepping out in semi-sheer tie-dye leggings and a matching crop top. She added a little height to her petite frame in cute open-toe heels and also donned blacked-out sunglasses. We also didn’t miss the crimped hair.

Kranium

The Melody Gad stole the show going vintage Dancehall in jeans jacket and ripped pants with mesh – green, black and yellow – marina inside shirt. Oh, we also caught a glimpse of his rhinestone-bedazzled belt. He topped off his look with a real yardie Kangol Bermuda bucket hat.

Mr. Vegas

The Dancehall celebrity came out looking dapper in his red turtleneck, long sleeve sweater and black joggers.

Ding Dong

Ding Dong was stunting in casual wear, donning his beige Polo with Interlocking G stripe shirt, white skinny jeans and matching red bottom Gucci sneakers.

Snoop Dogg

Snoop was colorful in a full tie and dye shirt and sweats and a graphic bomber jacket brandishing artwork of his debut studio album Doggystyle.

Chance the Rapper

Chance the Rapper came sporting a playful pair of camo pants with black and white sports jacket.
