A toddler who found a loaded handgun that was not secured, shot a mother fatally when she was on a video call that was work-related, the Florida police reported.
The woman who was the toddler’s mother was shot in the head. The person she was talking to, saw the toddler and heard the loud sound, the person also saw the woman fell to the ground and didn’t hear her speaking again. That caused the person on the other line, to call the police who found the woman, Mrs. Lynn with one fatal shot to the head.
The officers and paramedics tried to resuscitate her, but they eventually revealed that she was dead. She was Shamaya Lynn a 21-year-old and it is clear that an adult had left the loaded gun in the apartment unsecured.
Police are not yet sure if charges will be filed in this case.
