Pouring out his gratitude, track star turned music producer, Usain Bolt is showing his appreciation to fans for their support of his single It’s A Party.
Taking to Instagram and Twitter on Saturday, the 100m and 200m world record shared a one-minute video to show his gratitude. “I’m so grateful for all the love and support we’ve been getting for our hit single “It’s A Party”.
“Yo so people, It’s A Party is been out yuh understand and mi like di support and love weh we a get so mi just a say continue supporting, continue showing us love,” Bolt said in the video.
Filled with gratitude, Usain Bolt explained that with this being his debut into the world of music, he is in awe of the supportive energy. Moving the camera over, Bolt beckoned to his manager NJ and said, “NJ watch mi DJ, play the tune… play the tune!” They, then, both vibed to the catchy and infectious intro to It’s A Party.

Bolt’s posts were welcomed and saluted by many household names of the industry. It’s A Party, released by Bolt’s record label, A-Team Lifestyle, features Bolt’s manager Nugent “NJ” Walker. Released on July 9th, It’s A Party is a summer anthem focusing on good vibes, summer fun and partying all night. Earlier this month, Bolt was jubilant when the song hit No. 3 on the UK Reggae iTunes chart, and No. 2 on the France UK Reggae iTunes chart.

The eight-time Olympic gold medallist seems to be bringing the same discipline and competitive spirit to music that he brought to running. “You have to dream big. We are already thinking about winning Grammys; when you come into music you want to aim high,” Bolt told The Daily Beast in an interview in April.
“When I started out as an athlete, I didn’t understand dreaming big, it was just saying I want to win an Olympic gold medal until I got to that level, then the highest level is winning continuous Olympics. Now that we are in music, it isn’t just about getting a hit song, it’s getting a song that sells platinum and wins a Grammy. We are putting all of our time into music and aiming to be up there with the very best.”
In an Instagram three days ago, Bolt teased the production of new music. Though the video has no sound, Bolt showed us the studio mixing board and desktop showcasing pro-tools. With the caption “Loading……..
